i dont know how people can live across from this landfill it spues dirt and dust it looks disagusting with broken down fence and the street is always lined with dirt i dont know how they get away with environmental disaster this area is a eye sore and they should be made clean it up it is a health risk i am sure

First it's Llanerch..second the property is going to be developed with stores in the very near future....takes years to fill up a quarry which is what it was not a landfill per se....thanks

The landfill reclamation has been ongoing for years - the site will become a Lowe's along wiht other stores - until then, the weenies in Upper Darby council complain about "traffic"

It's not a landfill. No trash is deposited in it. Only solid fill. What proof do you have its an environmental disaster? I don't see how dumping fill in a 60 year old hole is hurting the environment. Its acutally improving the environment. By the way when the Lowes and Giant open next year, please don't complain about the traffic. You're about to get your wish when its gone.

I agree with the other comments and will mention they neglected to remind Anne that the property is in Haverford township. Not a damned thing UD can do about it.
