This whole stretch of West 29th st (1200 to 1399) has been going through the patch fix for well over a decade. Not only are there deep holes and missing curbs with chunks of pavement everywhere, each manhole has problems with the pavement around them. It looks like a war zone andneeds to be repaved.

This street (West 29th 1200-1399) needs a total repaving. It has daily school bus traffic even in the summer with Murray Ridge buses and was the was used for parking and traveling of construction and cement trucks during the re-paving of West 28th and 30th a couple years ago and Oberlin ave. last year. The curbs are all busted up and EVERY YEAR rocks and cinders from previous patch work litters the street and tree lawns. Almost every section of concrete is completely cracked along with potholes and the manholes are uneven too as stated in the other comment.. Years of neglect make it dangerous.

yes 29th is a mess not only do we get big school buses but now coca - cola trucks are going down this street - do what they did on oberlin ave .

On Highland Park Between 800 and 1100 block a group of college students spent quality time on sealing all the cracks on the street several years ago ...that street is still in good shape...Why doesn't Lorain learn something from that experience ...they always hot patch pot hole but never seal the patches or cracks ...about 6 years ago on 29th Street the street was newly paved now I see cracks all over ..Can we learn something here....from Highland ...maintenance is key...seal the street before a plow trucks rips the cracks and large pot holes appear ....also when a street is paved and bids are place...can the bids also include sealng cracks one time by that same contractor after a few months of use

sounds good i say go to states where the winters are worse than ours & see how they keep there streets pot hole free or is it just business without potholes then no jobs -
