Description

The snow service (CT license plate K-94602) hired by the Second Star of Jacob Christian Church is in violation of city ordinance and should be fined. They cleaned the church parking lot by plowing the snow into the street - the corner of Chapel & Lloyd - as well on the opposite sidewalk, blocking access for the businesses there. This is a violation of Section 27-34:

No person or property owner shall throw, place or plow ice or snow into any street in the city, nor cause such disposal. Failure to comply with this section shall result in an infraction and a fine of one hundred dollar ($100.00), or an amount up to the maximum allowed under state statute. Each day that the violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
