Description

For over a year I, along with the residents of Lexington Commons Community, have experienced many different issues that have been brought to the attention of the HOA Management Company, Cedar Management and HOA Board of Directors without proper acknowledgment, care, or resolution to said issues. The most severe of these issues include a horrible flooding issue on my street in the back lawn area(s). When asked repeatedly what can be done to rectify this issue, Cedar Management has failed to make any sort of attempt to remedy the situation, instead they are pointing a finger to the original builder, Portrait Homes. It has gotten so bad that my cement patio area has become green and black, caused excessive soil to erode, and has even collected so much that the rain has rotted the wooden back door frame, of which Cedar did not repair, instead they just placed metal flashing over the rotted wood and called it "completed." Many homeowners are wanting to know where the HOA dues are going since no repairs have been made to many various issues in the community. We have any where from rotting park benches in common areas, to flooded lawns, to not enough parking for homeowners or visitors. When asked about these issues in board meetings, they...."simply do not have it built in to the budget." Over 200 homes in this complex at $115.00 a month add up to enough money to more than fix all issues named above. Moreover, board members have even went as far to harass young couples with children and minorities stating that this community was designed to facilitate the elderly not home for the young or middle aged or minorities. Where are my dues going?????
