I finally figured out how to send this site a picture of the situation ! The other day , a whole crew (state) , and removed a dangerous tree that was on state property , overhanging and resting on their garage . I asked the crew boss if they could cut these branches , and he said they weren't authorized to do so as the tree is on my property . He did take my name , number & address and said he would check into it . I am currently going through the probate court system as executor , and have lost my job 2 years before my mother's death last year , so I have no monetary means to speak of to pay a tree service . I guess the only solution is to wait and have the limbs take out the power lines , and when the lines are down , I guess I could the rest of the danger out myself !

All I can say is that several tree cutting vehicles and crews were in the neighborhood , all for other reasons , but still these branches "lurk" ! I am holding my breath on a daily basis and on every wind & snow storm , I guess after they come down and take out power lines is when someone will do something !

Still nothing done , the mysterious guy that was here in the summer , said he'd be here in the fall , didn't show up again ever , and the limbs have made it through this nasty winter , thank God ! I guess it's up to me , so when all the snow melts and get's a little warmer out , I will have to come up with a plan using my saw and ladder !

Still nothing done , however , the Fairfield free newspaper claims that the UI company will be doing tree trimming over power lines as part of a preventative maintenance program some time this year . Hope they don't forget my street !
