Description

The elevators and escalators malfunction regularly at this EL station, at 63rd and Market Streets. This makes it virtually impossible to get upstairs to the platform to get on the train. If you are pushing a stroller, are on crutches, are in a wheelchair, or are elderly and cannot climb the two flights of stairs to the platform, you cannot use the train. The elevator goes out about once a week and the escalator goes out about 2x per week.
