On the West side of Arleta (toward River Rd) there is a single story apartment complex where the residents constantly park on the street. There is ample parking in their own parking lot in the back (as confirmed by the landlord) however he is uninterested in making the tenants park there. The real problem is that the street is narrow and there is a retirement home at the end of the street. This retirement home receives several visits from emergency vehicles on a daily basis. The tenants somehow feel the need to park on the street, sometimes several feet from the "curb". This makes driving a normal car through the street very difficult but leaves the emergency vehicles without access. I've already had to call the non-emergency number several times to get vehicles moved. I'm starting to see that a no parking sign is needed now on the west side of Arleta.
