the brewpub does have a rack out front which i have used many times (made out of a railroad rail). this is also a private for profit property so the public should not be paying for a bike rack to serve their establishment

I have a problem with the community paying for a bike rack to be installed here at a private business. I do not have a problem putting a bike rack in public places, such as parks, the fire station, city hall, etc.

The bike rack is the last thing that needs to be added to this area the property next to the rail road in the 600 block of w hargett needs remodeling.

The Hargett side of the brewpub is a pedestrian's nightmare. Could the city give us some help in this area?

Agree with Jo. This is the main way to get to downtown from Boylan, that and Cabarrus. It looks very seedy. I always see women in heels struggling through there. Now that Citrix is finished it really should be addressed. The empty gravel quarry lot could possibly be a very nice park to sit in and have lunch.
