I've noticed construction on the residence of 353 Crestlake Drive. I don't have photographic evidence, as there is only a work truck outside of the property, but fear it may be an illegal in-law unit that they are building.

I confirmed that there are no active building, plumbing, electrical permits for this address. I reported this matter to the Department of Building Inspection (DBI). The department opened complaint #201339162 for this inquiry.
The Building Inspection Division (BID) of DBI responds to complaints of unsafe structures and work without proper permitting. BID will send an inspector to investigate the matter within the next week to assess the legality of the construction. As necessary, the department will take action against any responsible parties.
