Description
Old Dominion Dr, between Glebe and Williamsburg (and beyond) is dangerously narrow for cyclists and pedestrians. We desperately need sidewalks or bike lanes or at least an expanded road shoulder.

Thank you for your concern. Some improvements in that corridor have already been made and and more are in planning and design, at least within Arlington. This is a VDOT right of way, so Arlington is working collaboratively with VDOT and Arlington is funding the work you may have seen and will likely see in the coming few years. You would need to reach out to Fairfax County and VDOT for plans beyond the County border. On the resurfacing, one section near George Mason is on VDOT's list for this coming paving season. The rest of the stretch roughly from Glebe to Williamsburg, will be done with the other coming improvements.
