Sec. 22-040: General Residential District Provisions:
Sub-Section. 3. Residential Driveways and Parking Standards (Adopted 1/22/02)
___No residence shall have a driveway and parking area with a total area that exceeds twenty-five percent (25%) of the front yard. For the purpose of this section, driveways and parking areas shall include all asphalt, concrete and gravel surfaces that are accessible via an approved curb cut and shall not include grassed or landscaped surfaces.
__No residence shall be allowed to park more than two (2) vehicles in the front yard and outside of a driveway or parking area. In instances where vehicles are parked outside of a driveway or parking area, the front yard shall be maintained in a manner to which no part of the yard becomes deteriorated due to the parking of said vehicles.
__No residence shall be allowed to park any boat; recreational vehicle; travel trailer; or vehicle not in operating condition or currently licensed in the front yard.
__No residence shall be allowed to park any commercial vehicle;, or any other vehicle over ten thousand (10,000) pounds gross weight; or twenty-four (24) feet in length in residential districts, unless parked within an enclosed building or structure.
