Any update on this issue? Now with the freezing temps the puddles have frozen over. This has made for an extremely dangerous situation, no sand or salt being put down.

sounds like a concern for the property owner, not the city.

I think it is a city-owned parking lot. There are a few spaces with parking meters on them.

I will be contacting both the DPW and Laz Parking myself to find out what can be done as no action has been taken yet. The parking lot is mostly ice now, totally unacceptable.

No, it hasn't.... but I've called around to the city and Laz parking and nobody has any plans to fix the issue. Nobody is taking responsibility for the issue.

There are old railroad tracks cemented into the pavement, and it looks like it is these tracks and the flat grade around them are causing the flooding. It appears that fixing this problem would entail ripping out the tracks and regrading the area around them, which probably means ripping out all the pavement in the lot as well. Unfortunately, I doubt anyone wants to pay for such a job. Who is the councilor in this district?
