Description

In Edgewood Park, near the sundial fountain. The water is coming from a round metal cap (top of a pipe?) in the asphalt.

I would also like to see this fixed. Also I take my children here on occasion and would like to see more parents tending to there kids, it seems that parents are either dropping their kids off or allowing kids to come here by themselves. In this day and age 7, 8 year olds shouldn't be left unattended. They play very rough knocking down the little kids. And what if they get hurt .

The leaking has stopped, I suspect because the water has been shut off for the winter. I'll check again once the weather warms up next year.

The water has begun leaking up from the asphalt again, and it seems worse than it was before. It's been over a year and a half since I posted this, and nothing has been done. The issue hasn't even been acknowledged. This problem is costing taxpayers money every day.

Still leaking, still watering the weeds growing through the cracks in the road.

Thought this was fixed last summer; but, will have the plumber inspect and assess. In any regard, I do not want to shut this down when it is hot to do a repair unless it can be done quickly so as not to interfere with cooling down the kids. Will see what is reasonable to do.

It's not leaking now, but I don't think it's because it's been repaired. I think it's because the water has been shut off for the season.

I looks as if there was some work done at this location recently. I'll hold off on closing this until it warms up and the sundial fountain starts spraying water on the kids.
