I'm wondering if the fines for moving violations inside the city shouldn't just be pushed up much, much higher. Maybe if traffic laws were actually enforced once in a while, people would be less likely to try and get away with stuff like this. Can they make stop sign cameras? I'm sure they'd pay for themselves pretty quickly since most drivers in New Haven think that stop signs and the "No Turn on Red" signs are just a suggestion.
