Description

Rocky River Rd (heading north) needs a right turn lan installed at the intersection with 74. Traffic gets backed up there too frequently and the ability to pull into a turn lane to turn right would ease the traffic a little. People already drive on the shoulder to get up to the intersection to turn right, but there are a couple of large pot holes at the end that look to possibly cause damage if someone isn't careful. The room is there to pout the lane...all it needs is pavement!

Also, the right turn lane on Rocky River Rd (heading south) at the intersection of 74 needs to be extended further back to Meyers Rd. I live off of Meyers Rd, and find it difficult to even go into the BP station on the corner, as traffic gets built up there in the mornings and afternoons. I would have to work my way in from the stop sign (when someone is finally courteous enough to let me in), wait for 5 minutes for the light to change so I can finally move the 100 feet I need to turn into the gas station....or to just turn right onto 74.
I think people leaving Meyers may find it easier....and so will the people coming down Rocky River Rd wanting to turn right onto 74....they may not have to wait in the line of traffic for 3 or for rotations of the light just to get to the current right turn lane.
