Was the signage removed at the city's request or was it removed without city influence?
The signage at this location is an ongoing problem. The businesses have erected two 4x4 signposts and are displaying banner signs on a rotating basis. The signs seem to stay a couple of weeks then rotate to another business' signage. The process repeats with the original sign eventually going back on display.
Shortly after the sign I reported came down another took its place. This 2nd sign has been up before and is part of the rotation tactic. It is in reality (presently) 2 signs for the same establishment, hanging from the posts, that add up in square footage equal to the 1 sign I originally reported.
It seems to me that these signs are in violation of the maximum square footage allowed as well as the total (annual) maximum time banner signs may be displayed.
