Description

CT transit buses constantly run red lights at chapel and State Street. If they are not running red lights many times they block the intersection so that pedestrians cannot cross safely. Connecticut transit needs to talk with bus drivers about safety. I just witnessed 1212 block the intersection going east at 10:35 pm.

HaHa welcome to New Haven- lawlessness abounds- enforcement of this behavior is to be desired. Can't change 30 years of bad habit. But you can try by taking a moment to report these drivers to CT Transit via website or phone.

You forgot to mention the speeding up chapel street doing at least 40mph.

Call the bus company. They do not monitor these boards.

The bus company does not have a public way of communicating with them with photos and locations so I'm going to stick with this. Thanks for the suggestion.

Because these bus drivers know there is no consequence, it goes on. This in large part can be blamed on a police dept. that refuses to enforce traffic laws and general quality of life laws.
