North 1st Street in Deer Park is a 2 way road which turns into a one way road heading Northbound at the intersection of N 1st st and Rockaway Blvd (aka Falcon Pl) The Northbound cars travel in the middle of the road or the southbound lane as there are no lines in the road and the road isn't straight, it swerves left. This causes the Northbound cars to swerve into the Southbound lane. There are no stop signs at this intersection. The cars making a right from Rockaway Blvd onto N 1st street risk a head-on collision. This road is is at the corner of Deer Park High School and it puts many students at risk on a daily basis.
