Description

With the new roundabout at Hamlin/Livernois it is now difficult to make a left turn out of Cumberland Woods subdivision during rush hour.

Waaaaaaaaaaa ........ cry me a river !!! The round-about was intended to keep the flow of traffic moving wasn't it ?? Isn't this the same sub-division that had signs posted for " No through traffic " during the construction phase of the round-about so people wouldn't pass through their neighbrohoods trying to get home. Just like your sub-division forced motorists to find a more acceptable method of travel ------ so should you.

Actually xchips, the No Through Traffic signs were placed in all the neighborhoods that had access to both Livernois and Hamlin during the construction, and it was done by the city. The subdivisions had no say in this.

The City posted the signs after construction had started at the request of the residents within the sub-divisions bordering the construction area. They were post6ed at sub-divisions South of Hamlin Road and those Bordering East / West of Livernois. If you don't believe me check with the archieved articles at the Oakland Press and with officials at the City of Rochester Hills
