Description
So far in the last 2 storms this street hasnt been touched by a city plow. Neighbors have had to do it with small truck plows (thank god). Now that an ice storm is comming please have the city plow and sand the street.

Thanks for reporting this. It sounds like many complaints were logged and the city needs a new approach next winter. Please open an issue again if plowing becomes an issue this winter.
Also, I believe that sidewalks need to be maintained much more carefully in the winter - in fact they should be maintained at least as well as the streets, since a very large proportion of people living in New Haven do not have the option of driving and need clear sidewalks in order to get to work, access bus stops, etc. This past winter, there were hundreds of injuries due to ice falls and children were being forced to walk in the middle of the streets like Whalley Ave. That's just unacceptable.
