I'm sure it wasn't patrol man not failing to patrol a known drug dealer invested prostitute soliciting area....
The NHPD must obviously not be given the proper human resources and amount of patrolmen assigned to the poverish area, maybe we should request the roster officers assigned to that district and to see if the amount per capita was properly assigned to cover.
Note it only takes a few hours for one vehicle to drive up and down every st in that peninsula section Fair Haven!

Call it in or they won't know. Patrol will then be able to investigate.

Telling no one and expecting complete patrols of every area of a district every shift is just not a realistic view. We, as the public, are the eyes and ears for the PD.

Had you been there I saw a tow truck pull stop go in reverse look at then drive off thinking they were notified and there to tow...

As for the patrols, your point about complete patrols not being realist then validates that the force may just be under staffed.... Citizens are turning a blind eye, After all New Haven was Ranked 4th in the country previous year for Crime per capita! Descent Values are in decline with the populace or just maybe in fear, It Took a while for the Mayors office to release the NHFD Crime statistics to the FBI....
Hopefully, there is a task for working with the State Police to nab this influx of car thieves with bait cars...They can start with bait cars...

This car was originated owner near Trumbull was stolen at Milford Mall and then Dumped at Hollywood Park Fair Haven a few weeks ago in less than 24 hours was completely stripped engine and inside out...if anyone has any information as to who the car thieves were or chop shops is please notify the state police with information.....so they are apprehended and in custody
