Plus there's this hill that a lot of kids go sliding down...maybe only when there's a fatality or a serious injury the PA Police Service would patrol around the area a little more than they normally do.

yes i agree, this has been going on for many years (i grew up in this area) but now with cell phones maybe someone should call the police??...i havent been ther in some time now but i tell you...i sure would!!

I agree that if snowmobilers are endangering lives of people this is a very valid concern. As a snowmobiler I wish the city could provide me with information on where I could legally and safely park my vehicle and unload my sled at the edge of city limits so that I could then utilize the trail systems or the ditches. Promoting responsible snowmobiling around Prince Albert can increase the influx of tourists who therefore spend more money on hotels, food, gas, etc. I miss the days where there were clear routes at the edge of the city that let people know where they could sled. Sledding in the city is not ideal but much worse are those few individuals who make snowmobilers labelled as dangerous and delinquent. I know the majority of us are not.

I think thats an excellent idea. We should have spots where it is completely safe to unload and load snowmobiles and clear signs marking trails. Its definately a great way to spend an afternoon and Im sure if there was a more defined place for people to do it we would not have a problem with snowmobilers riding where they shouldnt be.

hey people, great ideas !!...i think there is a snowmobile club here in town...i would think city hall has thier contact info??...if not maybe try the local radio station??...or maybe if there is someone reading this and has the info needed please help them??...ill keep my ears open and if i do hear something, ill post it....im very happy to see there is finaly ideas and not just complaints on here, this is (to me) what a comunity is all about....good work!!

i did find one club...they are called...lakeland "tree huggers" snowmobile club...so, i googled it and got a number...(306) 982-4544...they are from christopher lake area and im sure they will be glad to help out...good luck!!

where is miller hill park?
no vehicles at all should be in a park where kids are.
bet they are teens not adults and yes you should report them to police because I bet none of them have the snowmobile operators safety cards that they need to even oporate a snowmobile.

Miller Hill Park is the park that is attached to the playground behind Berezowsky school on the east side. If i see them again I will definately be calling the police.

I agree about the safety concern for our children but at the same time the sled tracks make awesome walking paths for families like mine who try to walk through the park to go sliding. That snow was knee high! my poor husband had to hold me up so I wouldnt fall over

I totally understand that :) I walk my daughter to school every morning through that park and it would definately be nice if there were more paths cleared out.
