Description
Car Wash King and the car repair shop behind it (Mikey's?) has been closed for several months and appears abandoned. The grass and weeds have grown up through the pavement and people are dumping their trash around the full and overflowing trash cans that were left. It is quite an eyesore and property owners need to maintain or secure the property.

This is a matter for the Property Standards Division - illegal dumping. I will submit the request to them to inspect and initiate action.
In the future, please use the official Codes and Building Safety website to report a code violation and to gain a status on a request as ClickFix is not the official Government website to submit such requests:
To report a code violation: http://www.nashville.gov/Codes-Administration/Property-Standards/Code-Enforcement/Report-A-Codes-Violation.aspx
To view a status: https://permits.nashville.gov/kivanet/2/rfs/index.cfm

I'm not sure why you would have issues with our Department. Any request that is called into our office is logged into the KIVA system. The property is inspected and if there are code violations the owner is issued an abate notice to make all corrections. I am not sure why your requests to this Department would have anyhting to do with your Council representative. If you would like to provide me with the addresses you submitted to Codes for inspection, I would gladly look them up for you and provide you with a status.
If you will rememebr it was the Metro Councuil who passed an Ordinance that property owners can have chickens on their property - not Codes. And Codes does not regulate the ordinance - Metro Health does.
