They recently changed the traffic light on the intersection if Hawthorne an Whitney and it takes a ridiculous amount of time to change green and allow cars onto Whitney. I witness people running this light all the time after waiting for several minutes. No one was complaining before the light timings were changed (so this "easing of traffic on Whitney" is doing more harm than good).
