There is an African American guy in 206 with a gray pitbull who lets his dog poop along the sidewalk or across the street in Campiegne Park. This afternoon, I finally said something to him: "Don't you know it's illegal not to clean up after your dog." His reply: "I'm not picking up no dog s*** you mf little fa*****."
Well I didn't expect that, can the City come say something to this guy? I'd take a picture of him, but I think he'd probably come after me now. This dog poop problem is out of control.

Alex, I've never encountered anything quite that threatening when I've asked people to pick up after their dogs. Wow. I guess if he's of the character that everyone else should be picking up after his dog, plus he calls you a name of that sort, it speaks to his nature, which isn't very pretty.
I live on a corner and I've put up with dog doo for years. I have posted signs (both funny and serious), handed people bags and written message to offenders with sidewalk chalk. The chalk has, for whatever reason, been the most effective in getting the message across.
I am so sorry that you were treated so disrespectfully, especially when you were looking out for the health and well-being of your community.
