I do not agree with placing a NO LEFT TURN sign at this intersection. As someone who lives right below this crosswalk I want to make a u-turn and or left turn here. It is unfortunate that you were almost hit by a speeding motorist today, you are not the first and will unfortunately not be the last for this to happen to. What the problem is that motorist are speeding down or up Park Blvd, we need to slow traffic. The GNA is making progress towards narrowing Park Blvd and SLOWING traffic down along the whole blvd. We are getting huge support from the East Bay Bicycle Coalition in doing this by adding bicycle only paths on either direction of Park. Is Public Works the agency to act on this request?

I agree that the problem is speed. I would be in favor of a stop sign at that intersection or speed bumps all along Park (which is not a highway, people) or other measures to slow traffic.

It does fall under the Public Works Department's purview.
