Description

Cars continue to use Fountain Lake Way as a short cut, even while school age children are on this street using the school bus system.

The streets have no lights, no school bus stop sign or even a school cross walk with flashing yellow signs that could alert drivers to drive 20 mph.

The City Engineer Mr. Brewer and the South Region Commander Capt Sharp haven't or wont do anything about it.

I think speed humps should be added at both entrances to East Lake subdivision. This would cut down on the people using our subdivision as a shortcut from Atlas to Garners Ferry. It would slow down the traffic going through and it would make it safer for people turning off of Springway onto Fountain Lake Way. People speed down Fountain Lake Way and when turning off Springway, you risk getting hit.

Please, we need street lights and a school bus stop with flashing yellow signs that read 20 mph (school bus stop) In the mornings, its dark when school age kids walk to an un marked bus stop and board the buses. Please for safety and security make Fountain Lake Way safe for our kids..

With the early morning, 6:00 A. M. bus traffic, its very difficult to see these children as they use their school buses. Its a dangerous road for anyone to be on when its dark.

Please someone help, Fountain Lake Way needs the police to patrol when this street is being used as a short cut for motorist.
