This has been a chronic issue in the mornings and evenings for the five plus years I've lived here. In some cases cars are parked on both sides of the narrow street close to the intersection. It is particularly dangerous on winter mornings when the road freezes and extra time and space are needed to stop. I purposely adjust my travel time to avoid this persistent problem. It would helpful if parents parked instead at the corner fire station, arranged permission to briefly park at the hotel or simply parked further up the street away from the corner.
