This location is an ongoing and worsening problem.. I have reported several public urnination incidents in plazza to police.

I think renovation plans already involve completey changing this.

Maybe the should us this spot for free food hand out make every one happy ,add to the trash!!

This has been referred to the Downtown District Station for review, an update will be posted once we hera back from them.

The Downtown District has been working to increase police presence in the Fayetteville Street area to address these concerns. In addition to the beat officers who provide coverage in the vicinity, foot patrol officers are assigned to walk the area on Friday and Saturday nights. During weekday shifts, two foot-patrol officers are assigned specifically to this area. Additional bike and Segway patrols have also been implemented to address these types of concerns.

The police department will continue to work with other city departments and organizations to address the concerns that have been expressed in this posting. We further encourage our citizens and others to continue to call 911 at the first sign of a disturbance or any other matter that you believes needs immediate attention. Promptly getting police officers to a location can often prevent relatively minor situations from escalating.
