Maintenance work processed on gas lines/meters in the summer of 2010 - workers equipment has destroyed the curbside. Erosion is occurring down into the roadway - storm water drains are being blocked. Requesting curbs be restructured.

Why has this report gone unrecognized?

As of this day, February 21, 2011 - this problem report has gone without acknowledgment. Workhorse remains sitting in the large sinkhole which runs parallel to the sidewalk. Hazardous conditions. Pictures were provided with initial report.

Multiple copies of this problem are being printed out and will be distributed at the community civic meeting and throughout the neighborhood.
As of this date, March 24,2011 nothing has been done.
Viewed 109 times - but has never been acknowledged.
Turnaround time is to be approximately seven (7) days.

Here's yet another ticket that has been opened for four (4) MONTHS.
Hire new staff to process citizen concerns. Or better yet - contact Mayor Jones and let him review how effective this system and/or staff is handling private citizen concerns.

As of this day, January 28,2012 the only change has been that another work horse has been installed around the hole.
Note: Status has not been changed from open to 'Acknowledged'. Can only assume that when status changes it is officially taken for action and the mayor might be privy to the issue.

this problem is still unresolved. Work horses are still present. Neighborhood Watch group keeps them standing as someone (?) keeps kicking them over. Worried that some one will fall in the 2 ft hole and then try to sue the city.

2/24/2012 - Thank you so much for sharing your important concern with the City of Richmond government. The situation with Curb placement has been formally reported to DPW Management (Request #20020822417) to request an investigation into the replacement of the concrete panels at 2913-2913 Barton Avenue. The situation with the sunken dirt plot has been formally reported to DPW Management (Request #20020822416) so proper inspection handling can take place accordingly - rtt

6/21/2012 - #20020822416 - Richmond Tree Management noted they have placed the maintenance of the hole on a schedule. This repair should take place soon.
6/21/202 - #20020822417 - The curb & gutter replacement will take time to complete. However if updates need to be shared or follow through conducted this can be done by dialing Richmond Customer Care 646-7000 - rtt
