my sister and her 4 year old daughter have to get up at 4am and walk on the side of Statesville rd in the dark to take her daughter to daycare, because there is no bus stop between statesville avenue and sunset rd, and there is people driving past them in an unsafe manner. But if you look at the CATS bus transit system there is a bus stop at either end of statesville rd, and we have asked the head of CATS transit if they can put a bus stop in between the stops like all of charlotte, if you look there is a stop every tenth of a mile everywhere else. But they said that they could not because, "it will impede traffic" but on every other two lane road there is a stop every tenth of a mile. And I am scared that just because my sister cannot afford a car on her very little income, that she will be walking to take my niece to daycare on farmpond lane and she will be hit by someone that is not paying attention in the wee hours of the morning. Please see if you can get this fixed I don't want my niece getting hit. Thank you very much.
