I am almost sure there was once a sign up alongside Reservation Rd. that said "No Thru Trucks". 18 wheelers are using the residential street to avoid DOT and having to take the few extra minutes to weigh in before making their delivery to Abiti Bowater. I am afraid for the safety of the children that live on this street. My children can no longer safely ride their bicycles down the street to their grandmother's due to the large speeding trucks, and the loud noise even keeps us up at night. I just wish the drivers would keep straight on Highway 5 and let this get back to being a much quietter road. Also, while we are at it, a stop light at the corner of Reservation and Highway 5 would be wonderful. The amount of accidents involving fatalities at the intersection over the years should be more than enough proof that a stoplight has always been needed.
