This happens every year at this intersection. Why haven't the bushes been removed permanently? They are in the public right-of-way, so the city has the legal authority to remove the bushes. One year this problem is going to go unresolved a day to long and somebody is going to be injured in a car crash at this intersection.

No, the city did not remove the bushes from the line of sight. I spoke with Public Works director Michael Smith and he told me that the city was not going to touch the bushes because the women who lived there "was a nice lady".
