The depression will be temporarily patched by South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority personnel and is pending permanent asphalt repair by our contractor by the end of the month.

There is a temporary patch on the sidewalk adjacent to the problem on the street. Will that be permanently repaired as well?

I believe that SCCRWA will repair the sidewalk as well, but I need to get confirmation on that tomrorow morning.

The sidewalk is on the Regional Water Authority's list of areas to be repaired. Typically, the sidewalk will be done after the asphalt and curbing are done.

The depression in the room that was patched has collapsed and a new pothole has emerged and is growing.

The patch repaired by the RWA is on the other side of the road and is intact. We are not aware of what had caused the pothole.

The pothole is in the exact location of the patch. See the attached photo.

We are closing older "pothole" issues in order to focus on current pothole issues. Many of the older issues were addressed through our streets division but were never closed. Other road issues reported in the "pothole" category are road conditions beyond an immediate fix/ patch. We've reviewed those and have considered them through our paving seasons. Thanks
