Description

The pavement work done on northbound Brook Rd. (just south of the Westbrook intersection) needs attention. Half of the work was done properly and half was done improperly. The strips of asphalt make the ride in the left lane feel like riding on railroad tracks. The company that performed this work did a substandard job and needs to correct the problem. It is sad that the city spent millions of dollars paving Brook Rd. a couple years back and performed a good job, just to come back, tear up the road for utility work and perform a substandard job repaving the road. It seems like the repair should be consistent with the original surface.
