Although it was reported by a different person, this is the same property that was reported today 9-18-13. This issue and the one reported today continue every single day.
No one has dealt with any issues on this property. We all watched them completely replace the stairs when they had a permit for less than 50% but DBI inspector let them slide. They are serial permitting (which is illegal per DBI) the complete remodel of this property. Records show no permit for replacement of garage door.
MTA has been called many times for blocked sidewalk (trucks backed in & ramp to load dumpster), double parking of multiple vehicles - no one ever came.

Again, we are currently investigating the matter and have reported DBI as well. We are waiting for DBI's response and this property and its contractor are now on our radar. We will update you as information comes in. Thank you.

Just heard back from DBI's inspector. The inspector has contacted the contractors to NOT block the sidewalk or double park-they have been warned. Up2Code will continue to monitor this issue. Thank you!

Thank you for your efforts. There has been some progress - they were loading the box from wheel barrows on the sidewalk instead of ramp. At least people can walk around it on the sidewalk instead of the street. Double parking has continued. Still don't see a permit for debris box street space on DPW site though.
Sorry for my attitude but I am frustrated by all the illegal building and illegal inlaws on this block that get no response from DBI.

Over the weekend they had a huge truck backed into property blocking the sidewalk with truck double parked next to debris box again forcing people to walk into the middle of the street (no pix sorry) ALL DAY. MTA was called twice and never came. Even tweeted to 311 with no response.
At this very minute they have a ramp set up to the debris box with a silver truck double parked next to the debris box. MTA has been called but we have no hope.
