Description

There are giant trees that overhang Scott Street and Ocean Avenue, at least one of which need to be taken down. An enormous branch broke off and is lying in the owner's yard, and it is rotten to the core, which means that the rest of the tree is also ready to break. If any of the overhanging branches fall, they are liable to kill or seriously injure a pedestrian.

Several of these large trees are completely rotten inside. There are giant mushrooms growing around the base. Trees overhang Ocean Avenue and power lines. These trees need to be looked at by the City.

Someone - the City? UI? - took down one of the trees on Ocean Avenue, but left an enormous rotten branch (which was mysteriously trimmed, but not removed) hanging over the sidewalk and street on Scott Street. All it will take is some snow or ice, and that huge limb is going to kill someone. Why wasn't the job finished?

There is still an enormous rotten branch overhanging the corner of Scott St. and Ocean Ave. Maybe it will come down today during the ice storm and land on an unsuspecting pedestrian. Why did the City remove a tree with branches hanging over the road and ignore the giant branch over the sidewalk? This City clearly doesn't value people who walk.
