High speed (55mph) intersection of 173 and Mitchel Rd. An "s" curve in 173 is intersected midway by Mitchel Rd. The access to 173 from Mitchel is a hazard due to limited visibility both east and west along 173 because of the curves in the highway and trees and vegetation in addition to the excess speed limit. Oncoming traffic in either direction is only visible for perhaps 100 yards, the length of a football field, and at 55 mph. is a risk to the residential traffic of the subdivisions north along Mitchel Rd utilizing this intersection.
