Its ridiculous!

I think it should be reopened because people are parking in handicapped spots and no one cares. So go ahead and close the issue again. Either respect the law or get rid of it. I really did not expect this. People should and I feel do know where the handicapped parking is but if it is covered up they take advantage of it. God bless.

OH I would re-stock the fluid for them, but please let them know that I will be there to do it. People are going to park in that spot anyway. Either stop parking in these spots or get rid of handicapped parking all together, this is not just about Speedway People!!!!! Wake up and smell the litter!! Really what are we going to do? Nothing? If it bothers you that much, then I suggest walking into Speedway and mentioning it to them. Maybe they'll fix it, maybe they won't.

Instead of just complaining about the issue, why not take some action to try to resolve the issue yourself?

Thank you Thomas for the acknowledgement to part of the problem; however I thought about that as a solution and it is not just about Speedway covering up the handicapped parking sign to somehow justify people just being people. The big picture has not much to do with Speedway and their interest in making people happy by covering up the handicapped parking sign so that they will get their business. This is why I say this is pathetic. OK Speedway does not cover the handicapped parking sign, these people will still park there. Thomas did you used to own a landscaping business? Hey seriously, what would you say if I had a video of people parking in the handicapped spots at Speedway and showing that the handicapped spots were covered up to look like they were not actually handicapped parking? What would you say to that? Also I would like to ask you why do you think that this is ridiculous? You know it is people like you who are ridiculous because people like you to me do not care about not much but yourself. Scrooge did not care about others until he was set strait. Thank you, just saying for responding to my post, however your comment to me simply says that you do not like people who point out the obvious problems with society not knowing right from wrong. I would agree more with wanting to be a private investigator. I think you mentioned the mental illness comment to hurt me? I am not sure of what mental illness you are referring to. Schizophrenia has to deal with delusional and paranoid thinking and that is inaccurate because it is a law to have accessible handicapped places for businesses and being this is a forum to correct such problems I do not know what mental illness you would be referring to. It is more of a disgrace for people to use the mental illness card as to win some obvious argument so people can disregard the law as it is written. Please tell me why do you feel that people should not respect the handicapped parking? Is that not the real problem? I say that we either need to respect the law as it is or change it. Call me what you want I have hung my hat on this and it will stay. God bless.

I would like to make another comment here on this forum, please. I thought more about the comment that Just Saying made to me about thinking that I have a mental illness and due to the fact that no one has responded to this obvious problem, I wanted to clarify things more. Keep in mind that when I say that the people that feel it is OK to bend and break the law would suffer from Mental Illness far more than me for wanting to point it out is not really a bad thing.
I would like to ask about what is more delusional? People who feel that they should break the law? Or people who point out the people who feel the need to break the law?
You might be able to distinguish between what you may be calling a minor infraction of the law as apposed to a major breaking of the law, like shooting people. Or like when the company says Fridays is a dress down day and that one person takes it to the next level and come in with Speedos on. If you can prove me wrong I will close this ticket, and apologize in the best way that I know how. Just saying right back at you just saying. God bless.

Bottom line is it is against the law to park in handicapped parking among other things and either get rid of or change the law or accept it, understand? There should be no it is against the law today and okay because thats when people get confused on what are laws and what are not laws, see. I doubt that you do. It just came to my mind and attention on how I got the notion to go video tape this problem. This site asks a person when closing if they have any videos or pictures to add to their ticket to show the infraction if it was solved or not. I was bluffing of course about taking pictures and video taping this, however Karl Monday from the news may not feel to intimidated about video taping this place.
It was asked of me if this issue have been solved, and I say no. Why are you people so angry, not just with this issue that I just pointed out but with the way you drive and your manors towards others in general? I am not angry when I point this out. I just hope that we all take a better look at what we do and to really see how it impacts our society around us. This could care less attitude really needs to be curbed not the laws that protect them, see? God bless.

Maybe Speedway could hire Ernest Angley to stand out front and heal all of the disabled people who stop there. Then they wouldn't even need handicapped parking.

It looks as though Ernest is already healing people because I seen the handicapped parking filled with people that have like no limitations at all. I do agree though that I really do not think Ernest can really heal people, it takes God and faith to make that happen. Thank you That’s funny for your honest comment. Now I feel that you are just kidding me to get a rise out of me, that’s kool. However, keep in mind that faith and God are some times different. First thing, technically doctors only help the body heal itself. And example of this is a person breaks their leg, the doctor sets the bone and puts a cast on it. The doctor only gives the body a better chance to heal itself. It has been proven, through the Placebo effect that when certain people have been giving a placebo pill that they do get better; this is a perfect example that faith and the body did the healing.
Now to the point, the spirit of God and even Santa Claus may or may not exist but it is at the moment the only thing that really separates humans from the animals and insects that live around us. When you get mad tell me isn’t @#$% because you feel that someone or something did you WRONG? Wrong is the opposite of right. This is because we have a sense of God built right into us. This is why I do not relate to people who chose to overcome this instinct to break the law by parking where they know they should not be parking. It is my understanding the issue was corrected.

How can anyone say that the issue was closed? To me this is like saying that we should forget about the oil spill now that the well has been capped. See the connection? I doubt that some of you would admit that you do so I will type real slow for you OK. Sorry first about my discontent attitude but , for real? Just because the oil stopped spilling out of the oil well it does not mean that the actual oil did not cause damage. Just because people can now see the handicapped sign does not mean that they HONOR it. In fact I would be willing to bet you dollars to doughnuts that people that park in the now obvious handicapped parking will say, Duhhh, that sign was not there before. So go ahead and say that I am rambling again, lol, I may say that I agree. I say Speedway people you now need to be the police so to speak and point out to the people who now feel that it is OK to park in the handicapped parking.
Let me make this perfectly clear to you all, it is really for the better of this community if we all can get along and naturally respect each other. Make the laws work for people and not just ignore them. I love you all and I hope that you trust that the buck stops here people and I know that you all know this. The issue was opened because the washer fluid bottles were blocking the sign. If they no longer are, the issue should be closed. It is not the responsibility of the workers to be the police. That's what the police are for.

The point of this site is to report issues so that they can be fixed. It wasn't created for people to use as a personal forum to rant about everything wrong in the would. That's what blogs are for.

I will close this ticket, Dale, to show you I have no hard feelings. You are correct I should not allow my personal endeavors get in the way of correcting problems without just simply causing just another problem. Thank you for helping me solve this problem Dale. God bless.
