Coyotes are everywhere. Shoot them or call somebody to trap them. If they're in your yard and you don't want them there, then it's your responsibility to get rid of them. I recently had a raccoon in my yard and I was afraid that it may attack my dogs, so I put a bullet in it's head.

It is tempting to suggest to "Do what the White Man did to Native Americans and just gid of something that was here before we were" but, of course that is ignorant. Unfortunately, until a child is seriously hurt or killed, nothing will be done.

coyotes will produce more offspring when their numbers are threatened. trying to kill them off will do nothing!

What do you expect anyone on here to do about it? The fact is that coyotes are making a comeback in Ohio. Maybe you should put up a fence for you dog.

At least they help reduce the deer population.

Get a call box and a red spot light and sit out there after dark with a 12 guage... it's call coyote huntin :)
