deep pothole when making right turn from Hanover Rd onto Mt. Pleasant Way, it is right at the corner and unavoidable.
Nothing has been done to fill the pothole. About 3 of every 5 cars go into it with both front and rear passenger side wheels, with pretty big jolt. Piled up snow on that corner prevents straddling the hole, so you have to move further into oncoming traffic lane to avoid.
Even a temporary fill job would be better than nothing. Understandably the cold weather hampers repair, but it doesn't snow every day and the temperature has varied quite a bit since November 2010.
The pothole is still there and is still unavoidable. PLEASE GET OUT THERE AND FIX IT, even temporary fill-in would be better. The pothole on River Road near Merry Lane was fixed within 3 weeks, this one is more than two months old and one month since post. IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN RESPOND to confirm that this pothole is on the waiting list?
Pothole is still there, getting bigger and deeper. Everyone is getting good at avoiding it by driving into oncoming traffic. Fill-in with stone would be better than nothing, winter asphalt is preferred. Many thanks to county and municipal public services for continuing to ignore this request.
Finally fixed 4/14/11. Previous fill-in attempts in the last month did not last, this one appears to be more permanent.
