The neighbors and I completely agree - we worked together in the Spring to put together a Complete Streets application that addresses these concerns. The area is about to be torn up for the next few years by the WPCA (sewer company), so nothing will happen until after that project is completed, however the plan calls for raised intersections at bradley/lincoln, bradley/orange, and improvements as well to the pearl street nub.

The sewer company has not yet come before the city plan commission - they are still in the early stages of discovery. Once the city and sewer company has an idea about the project timeline, I'll repost here.

Thank you for the notice - please share widely and ask that folks vote the issue up! Similarly, the complete streets project at Audubon/Whitney was submitted before the known sewer separation project with the intent for construction after the project completed. Additionally, it's important to recognize that the Audubon/Whitney intersection was half paid for by Yale University, which made the project much more possible with leveraged funds.
