Description

Ok, so everyone's vehicle comes with turning signal lights...these orange lights whose purpose it is to INDICATE YOUR INTENTION to turn.

People in this city, for some reason, do not use these signals...which are to be used to communicate your INTENTION TO TURN. I generally see them used in one of three ways:

1) Sitting in the turning lane, waiting on the arrow, their turn signal will come on... this is pointless, we already know you're going to be turning. Use your signal about half a block back to INDICATE YOUR INTENTION to turn.

2) As the vehicle begins their journey THROUGH the intersection and is halfway turned, the signal light comes on, what purpose does this serve? We know you're turning...use your signal half a block back BEFORE you begin your turn!!

3) Not at all...this is brilliant... no signal, and therefore nobody around knows what you're doing...cutting people off in lane changes.

This behaviour is dangerous, irresponsible and illegal. Get with it.
