Description

We have two tennis courts at Hackett Park that were painted earlier in the season however, they are rendered unusable because there is no / very little fencing around the courts that is necessary for proper execution of the sport. I find this very offensive given the attention of the 15Love organization in the more prominent Albany parks, especially given that this is a neighborhood of few recreational opportunities unless one can afford a membership to the YMCA, and few can, judging by the area youth foot traffic daily. These are recreational missed opportunities in a city wracked by childhood obesity, so I don't understand the level of constant neglect of these areas by the Rec. Dept.
