[removed] You are aware that this practice is not uncommon where sidewalks are allowed by municipalities all over the United States? SCF is to be utilized for responsible reporting of code or public work issues, not private citizens with a personal vendetta against property owners that they have a personal dislike for. In the future, as a citizen of Brookhaven, please be more responsible.
Bill Hightower, looking at your picture, there is clear access all around that fire hydrant. If you want to take it further, please contact your local fire department and have them visually inspect this particular fire hydrant you are concerned about. If they take exception to what you think is an obstruction I am sure they will address it with the property owner.
Thank you for reporting this issue to the City of Brookhaven. We have logged your request and will update you on the progress of this issue as we begin work.
