Thats kind of stupid? If you have a red light you need to STOP - even right turns on red are only allowed after a COMPLETE STOP and if NO TRAFFIC is coming. Drivers should never "ASSUME" anything - if your light is red - STOP.

If you turn left on red you deserve to get creamed. I just hope the north bound person doesn't get hurt!

if your in the center of the intersection when the light turns red you have right of way except if the on comming traffic has a green light which you cant see there light so no you dont deserve to get creamed no one deserves to get creamed and if both lights were red at the same time like any other friggn light in the united states then it would be fixed wouldnt it.

When the light turns red it is from the previous yellow condition. That's caution turning to halt. If you're in the intersection on yellow-turning-to-halt you better haul outa there. But yet be cautious. Closing.

the speed limit in an intersection is 0
you can stop on green and look both ways if you are so inclined.
in a perfict communist world everone does what there suposed to but in this one they dont.
Its a dangerious intersection and a hazard to community safety.
so a family of 4 dies or is injured because you dont want to admit your ignorant.

When traffic is heaving driving schools teach drivers to wait toward the center of the intersection for traffic to clear - OR WAIT TILL THE LIGHT TURNS RED AND CONTINUE WITH YOUR TURN AS YOU ARE IN THE CROSSWAYS. This intersection's light doesn't allow for this given one way has green when the other has red. I brought this up to the defensive driving instructor who was quite surprised to learn this could occur. Those of you who are saying a person deserves to be "creamed" if they turn on a red light are misunderstanding what is happening at the intersection. it is only recently that you have intersections where the light is not the same color on both sides of the intersection creating a dangerous situation.
