No, the pot holes are still as large and deep as ever. Its disgusting. Meanwhile they town just wasted more tax money (yes, grants r still tax money) on unneeded fancy street lights. Guess someone was jealous of netcong. But when I drive in netcong I haven't had to do the slalom around huge pot holes. Mayors priorities are skewed.

Because of the plows I suppose the road is now virtually impassable, end to end. I have driven better dirt roads. But we have decorative lamp post where there's already adequate light and sidewalks that r rarely used. While many people walk monroe and r forced in the unsafe street with no street lights on that road or the neighborhoods. Waste! Children hav to walk that road to the busstop. It is a dangerous situation.

There are even more holes now the section between bucknell and Harvard is so bad there is no street pavement left for most of it. Seriously. It is nothing but deep waves . It's like off-roading. I complained on the nj.com hopatcong forum about a drain that had opened up large enough to really get hurt about 2 years ago and it was fixed in days. It gotten to the point now where if they try to patch they are laying it on mostly dirt this is OBSCENE. But.. we now have prettylampost in town. The peoples real needs are not being met. Someone is just rearranging deck chairs. There are many kids on this road especially bc its a busstop. Someone is going to get hurt. My own kid fell and twisted her ankle in one becAuse she forgot since she was chatting with a friend. This entire road must be rebuilt but until spring at least pit something in the holes!
