I've reported to the middletown police several times about the corner of stack and high street that cars speed and don't stop at the stop sign especially during the late afternoon. I have asked that they place an officer during rush hour and/ or an electric speed enforcement that displays how fast you are going. For the last two weeks every morning a state police speeds down stack at 6:15 am There are sooooo many children who play here but no one has come. It's pretty sad that they would rather wait until a child is hit. Before they do something. Typical leadership here in town I suppose. Perhaps because we are in a high poverty area they don't really care. I've called and emailed several times-------- funny how my taxes were raised ....but I can not get a reopen to prevent a terrible accident.
