I totally agree - this is such a dangerous spot - when will this get fixed???

Please fix this. My teenage daughter drives this way to school and the gym every day and I am so scared she will get into an accident someday. Please don't make it take a serious or deadly accident to put this turn signal in, it is so very dangerous, especially in the mornings....

it isn't poughkeepsie - its town of lagrange - secondly, the comment could apply to four different turns in the intersection - do u mean north, south, east, or west?

It applies to all four directions. If you go through that intersection as frequently as I do, you'll understand what the problem is.

There are accidents constantly. By the way, it is located in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

There should be turn signals in ALL directions at the intersection.

This may be IN the Town of LaGrange. However, the Town of LaGrange does not take care of either Noxon Road or Titusville Road. They are county roads. Check the Town of LaGrange Website - Departments/Highways/Streets & Highways List. Noxon Road does not appear on the list and Titusville Road is identified as a County Road.

I'm well aware that The town doesn't take care of those roads. The issue was The MISTAKE of the town name. Lagrange Not Poughkeepsie.

Folks, The ClickFix application is what chose the address, not me. I think it's very clear what intersection is being talked about regardless of the town it's in.

Yes needed

The current situation is made worse by the fact that traffic approaching from the north on Noxon Road uses the right turn only lane to get around someone who is waiting to turn left. This makes it more difficult for traffic from the south to make that left turn. Enforcement of the current lane configuration would help a lot.

I'm very disappointed that this problem has not been recognized by any people that can do something about it. 125 votes says that there are a lot of people that agree that this is a dangerous intersection that needs to be fixed.

I'm afraid that there hasn't been enough accidents at this location yet. Give it time and maybe someone who has the power to get the signal installed will either have an accident there or have a relative who gets hurt there. Then maybe it will be done.

Apparently no one, that has any authority to do something about this issue, will take any action. I sent an email to Steve Saland's office asking for help but I wasn't even given the consideration of a reply. What's really frustrating is that all that needs to be done is for the highway department to replace one of the signal lights and the programing to run it. The roadway already has the separate turn lanes.

Looks like your prayers have been answered,as this has been here for a long time,separate left turn signals and lanes were put in place about 3-5 years ago
