I know the bike pretty well lost one 3 yrs ago down town ( Bolt cutters) Even ran after kid! But he was quick! I tried to report but no Ser # or photo . Waste of time
If you can , engrave a name or serial number on it , in a place pretty visible .Yes taking a picture, saving the receipt and/or documenting the serial number.Always report suspicious activity, call the police on people in your yard or loitering about your home.We were just discussing how a lot of stolen bikes wind up in the property rooms(seriously, rooms) Then the police have a big bike giveaway to the kids..Some say they watch Traffic and Parking remove bikes from signs and take them there also
Joseph-- just wondering, is there a way to access the property rooms to see if my bike has been picked up? While I don't have a serial number documented, I'm certain that I would be able to identify it.
Yes there is , just go down to the police station and enter the main lobby , they'll be glad to help , they might ask for some personal ID , a police case number , and some documents for your bike ..
